 Indiana Pork Spices Things up at Kroger Indy Jazz Fest

For the first time, Indiana Pork served as a sponsor and concessionaire at the 2008 Kroger Indy Jazz Fest, June 13-15 at Military Park in downtown Indianapolis.  Patrons enjoyed pork barbeque sandwiches at this world class event.  Click here to view the press release.


Indiana Pork Kicks Off Griling Season with Indy 500 Promo

Indiana Pork and Marsh Supermarkets recently celebrated the 92nd running of the Indianapolis 500 by teaming up to serve shoppers free Hormel Always-Tender™ Pork Burgers. The cookout took place the day before the race at three Speedway-area Marsh locations. It was also one of the first stops on a new mobile marketing campaign, “The Other White Meat Tour,” sponsored by America’s Pork Checkoff. 

"A lot of people don't really understand farming", said Chris York, a pork producer from Roann, IN. "By doing this, shoppers can see what 'real' farmers are like."

Statement of Ethical Principles Adopted at Pork Forum

Indiana Pork is proud to be one of multiple state associations in support of a statement of Ethical Principles for Pork Producers which was adopted at the Pork Forum in March.  This document, supported by both the National Pork Board and the National Pork Producers Council, is the first step in building a foundation of trust with customers and those who have the power to regulate.  To view the full document, click here.
